New Hope Kids is a convenient child-minding service that runs at the same time as our Sunday service. All our volunteers are experienced in child minding and have a valid working with children check (WWCC).
Our youth group is currently in recess and will be back in full swing in June/July 2023.
Our growing ladies ministry is warm, welcoming and is never without a sense of fun. They meet socially on a regular basis and also meet at the church for a Bible study led by Pastor Sue Penrith every Friday at 10:30am. All ladies are welcome.
New Hope Church is passionate about community engagement and is currently partnering with another ministry affiliated with New Hope called Hope 4U Unlimited. Community projects include feeding school children with a BBQ breakfast every Friday morning at Swansea High School and feeding the disadvantaged and homeless at two locations in Newcastle every Friday and Saturday night.
We are a creative bunch at New Hope. Our creative team are committed to leading us into the presence of God every Sunday and glorifying God with the talents God has gifted them with. If you consider yourself a creative person whether it be musical, drama, artistic or whatever, our creative leaders would be more than happy to help release the creative potential that God has given you.
Our small groups are at the very heart of the life of our church. Depending where you’re at in your walk with God, we have a small group that would be perfectly suited to you, whether it be a midweek Bible study, a Foundations New Christians class or a social group that meets for coffee.
Our weekly prayer meetings held every Thursday night at the church have been incredibly fruitful and powerful. We warmly welcome all who have a passion to pray and see God moving powerfully in our church, in our community and in our lives. Prayer meetings are led by Pastor Daniel Secomb, begin at 6pm and finish up at around 7:30pm.
Our Holy Spirit Nights are held the first Sunday of every month commencing at 6pm. These nights place an emphasis on worship, seeking the presence of God and allowing room for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to operate and minister to our lives.
